    ‘Soul UK’ Promo Album

Look what we got sent earlier today… here’s our take on it,

SOUL UK is an album Beverley Knight should be very proud of. The organic production plus those magnificent vocals create a very chilled, very slick & very fresh new sound for 2011.

The album is consistent from beginning to end. At times feels as though Beverley is performing this live, right in front of you. Highlights include the very beautiful and by far more superior then it’s original ‘One More Try’ - vocally stunning. ‘Apparently Nothin’ is just a pure funk fest. ‘Cuddly Toy’ is the albums feel good track, uplifting with a bit of a gospel influence during its chorus. ‘Round And Around’ is the little dark horse for me on this album. Watch out for the piano arrangement during the intro and chorus - just adorable! Beverley’s own backing vocals over the top, very reminiscent to the sounds of her early ‘Prodigal Sista’ days.

SOUL UK is the perfect soundtrack of the summer, and that’s minus the DVD which will also be included with it’s release!
